National Rescue Award for Swimming
The National Rescue Award for Swimming Teachers and Coaches does exactly what it says on the tin, certificated through the Royal Life Saving Society UK and recognized by the ASA and CIMSPA; training plus assessment takes two days.

Who should attend?
Staff who are responsible for the supervision of swimming pool based, programmed aquatic activities such as swimming lessons or coaching sessions. It is not suitable for the supervision of casual sessions. For advice on the supervision on swimming lessons please contact us.

- School Teachers who supervise or take school swimming lessons;
- Swimming club helpers;
- Aqua Aerobics Instructors;
Pre-requisites:
16 years of age at the start of the course;
be able to swim a distance of 40 metres continuously;
